About the campsite
Yercaud Adventure Camping - Relax & Rejuvenate.
Tucked away deep inside a sprawling coffee & pepper estate, Exoticamp’s Yercaud Camping Adventure offers complete seclusion from the touristy side of Yercaud. The Campsite is perched on top of a hill surrounded by acres of lush green coffee plantations, tall silver oak trees, orange tree orchards and misty forests of Sherveroy hills.

Set at an altitude of 5100 feet, this is easily the highest permanent nature camp in Yercaud. You will be far away from the crowd yet enjoy amenities like luxury Swiss Tents with cots & mattresses, fully functional kitchen, top-class toilets & washrooms, 24 hrs hot water, a cosy dining hall, separate campfire area, group breakout areas, adventure activity zone & more. The campsite also serves yummy breakfast, snacks, refreshments & 3 course meals.

Located at an altitude of 1623 meters above sea level in the Salem district of Tamil Nadu, Yercaud is a sleepy little hill town with abundant natural beauty. Known for its coffee, cardamon, pepper plantations & fruit orchards, Yercaud also surprises you with its diverse flora & fauna. Yercaud is also a go-to destination for quick weekend getaways due to its cool weather and proximity to Chennai, Coimbatore, Salem & Bangalore.

Disconnect yourself from technology and melt into the silence of the mountains. Wake up to the sound of chirping birds, go on sunset & sunrise treks, indulge in games of archery & rifle shooting, grab a book from the mini library, lie on a hammock with a cup of tea, sit around campfire, count stars, explore camp area in mountain bicycles through rocky biking trails… There is something to do for everyone. Sunset trek to one of the highest peaks of Yercaud is an experience not to be missed.

What’s more! There is also number of challenging rock climbing faces, optional adventure activities like Zip-line, High & Low element rope courses etc, making Exoticamp’s Yercaud Adventure Camping site the best Yercaud tent stay.

With resort stays in Yercaud getting increasingly crowded and tent stay in Yercaud becoming a vogue,

The campsite is suitable for all age groups, corporate outings, friends’ trips & family vacation. Campsite stays pleasant throughout the year because of its higher altitude. If you have camping and trekking in Yercaud in your bucket list then you have arrived at the right place.

Yercaud camp was my second trip with exoticamp and it gave me a much better hiking experience. The team guided us till we reached the campsite as we travelled on our own transport. I should say that this site is more sophisticated than my previous visit to Tada Site. Swiss tents were so comfortable with cots, beds and blankets with charging points inside. We had a lot of neat toilets and bathrooms with hot water facilities. Hosts Rohit & Sam were like part of the family and took care of all of us well and kept us engaged / entertained during game activities, hikes, campfire sessions. Last but not least, the food provided for lunch, dinner and breakfast was really tasty. We should really appreciate them for the hand-picked menus. I am happy that Exoticamp is providing a lot of confidence for my solo trips.

Had an amazing time at yercaud camp. It was my first outdoor stay experience and the facilities were very comfortable. The host was very good and guided us throughout and met to our needs. This camp is very safe for solo female travellers. The activities in the camp were well organized and the sunset hike was a great experience. The view was breathtaking and many thanks to the guide rohith. Food was great and overall it was a very rejuvenating experience.

One of the best camps I've been to lately. They took care of everythin from A-Z. Right from the start to the finish there's perfect hospitality and our host Sam(Swaminathan) did a great job. Looking out for more camps soon. Cheers to the team.
