If you are a wildlife enthusiast who loves going on safaris & wildlife walks; then this is for you!
Presenting an exclusive 'Wildlife & Bird Camping experience' that takes you on an exhilarating journey through thick jungles & hidden trails to spot wildlife & birds.
What's more! You'd also be camping in a remote campsite from where you can spot Elephants, Bears & Gaurs through a monocular right from the campsite.

The camp would be a great learning experience for kids to get a basic understanding of nature & wildlife.

Day 1

Morning:

Animal Spotting
Post breakfast; get picked up by a jeep (for people opting for Jeep pick-up) and head to Periyar Tiger Reserve for a guided safari on foot to spot wildlife & birds. If you are driving on your own you can follow the jeep. Post safari return on safari bus back to the gate & proceed towards the campsite

Noon:

Check In Check-in to the campsite post safari & get your tents allocated. Finish lunch & explore the campsite.

Sunset Hike
Go on an short sunset hike from our campsite

Night:

Campfire
Return to campsite, freshen-up, finish dinner and assemble for a fun campfire session.

Day 2

Morning:

Wildlife Spotting
Wake-up early with packed breakfast and start on a 100 Kms Deep jungle jeep safari through Gavi Reserve Forest. Finish lunch in the forest along the way & return to campsite by evening

Night:

Campfire
Post dinner, assemble for another campfire session & exchange memories.

Day 3

Morning:

Bird Spotting
Wake-up at leisure and go on a bird watching walk around the campsite to spot endemic birds.

Noon:

Stream Visit
Post breakfast check-out from the campsite and head to waterfalls, If Water level is low will suggest a nearby view point, activities or a water stream.

Important Info

Safari on foot on Day 1 & Deep Jungle Jeep Ride on Day 2 are govt permitted / curated activities. We wont be entering forest un-attended.
Wildlife spotting is purely by chance
Waterfalls dip is subject to waterfalls levels. If the water levels are low; we shall do an alternate activity
Bird spotting session is led by a birding expert
Check-In - Day 1 - 12.30 pm
Check-Out - Day 3 - 10.30 am

Pick-up & Drop:
Jeep could be arranged at an additional cost from Kumily at Rs.1200/person (pick-up & drop). or 1200/Auto (pick-up & drop)

Cancellation Policy:
- 75% refund for all cancellations done 7 days before the date of stay
- No refund for cancellations within 7 days from the date of stay
- Booking dates cannot be transferred / rescheduled
- In case of govt. imposed lockdowns / Covid disruptions, an option to reschedule booking to any other date within a year will be given. No refund will be issued.
- Refunds if any will be credited to the source account in 7 working days

Transport options
1) Reach Kumily by bus from Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore etc., and avail jeep pick up at additional cost
2) Travel end to end on your own by car/bike (location will be shared)
